About George

At 7 years of age, my pals & I built a fantastic tree house in our Denver neighborhood. And so began my love of a view (the treehouse had mountain views!) and my innate understanding of ‘a sense of place.’

Fast forward: I married my Baylor sweetheart. She was a grad student at TCU while I started a banking career in Dallas. That made Arlington a great place to live. We bought our first (and second) home from Ebby Halliday agent Marsha Bane. Our house-buying experience was so engaging I explored becoming a real estate agent when I was 25.

But I grew up with a salary mindset. So, my career took me to stints at American Airlines, Sabre, and Traffick911 (a DFW anti-sex trafficking non-profit). Then my confidence blossomed, and I stepped into entrepreneurial endeavors in brand consulting, furniture e-commerce, being a visual artist, real estate investing, and now as an Ebby Realtor®.

My wife and I have called Colleyville home for 23 years. Our two kiddos were educated in GCISD. (Our golden retriever was dog-trained in Keller and Southlake.) I serve on the Summertree Homeowners Association board as landscape chair for our 7-acre parkland.

Throughout my career and relationships, my heart has bent toward listening and standing by people in emotion-drenched situations.

I’ve learned in buying and selling homes as a homeowner and investor that there’s plenty of emotion around the process! I delight in helping people subdue chaos around selling or buying their home.

A favorite quote of mine comes from Psalm 16: “The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places.” This verse inspired a painting I built from our home survey. It reminds me to land well in your home -- and that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side of the fence. I’ve found it is the greenest in my own backyard.
